The PGA tour and the LIV Golf rivalry has taken a new turn, and it involves former PGA Tour member, Phil Mickelson. After the recent changes by the PGA Tour, the big names of the golf world are being cut-off from the PGA Tour earnings. We know that the Tour suspended all the members who joined LIV Golf. No more big bucks for Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson?

In July this year, the PGA Tour came up with a list that indicated the eligibility points of players who are no more a part of the Tour. But now the Tour has taken the matter seriously and has decided to cut out the names of LIV members so that the current players’ eligibility is not affected.

The Tour officially updated a memo for all the players with the support of the PGA Tour commissioner, Jay Monahan. The new adjustments reached beyond the FedExCup playoffs. It outlined all the ex-members and the top 125 on the list and came up with the names which might shock you.

According to the final official decision, the PGA Tour removed all members who resigned or were suspended. The list includes big names like Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka, and they are no more part of the career money list.

Mickelson has a total earning of $96,470,603 from his over three decades on the PGA Tour. Whereas two major championship winners, Johnson made $74,897,059. But now, no more.

Was the journey better than the destination?

Johnson made some commendable achievements in his 15 years on the PGA Tour. With an average score of 70.531, he won 24 times on the PGA Tour. His professional golf skills landed him two international victories, and he finished T6 at Open Championships.

On the other hand, Mickelson has earned not just titles but lots of love from his fans while on the PGA tour. He has an average score of 73.981, with 45 victories on the Tour along with four international victories.
