The LGPA Tour introduced “The Cut Cam” which showed the players’ swings and highlights that helped them in making the cut. It also displays the reaction of the family members of the players. But apparently, the whole idea was generated by none other than Max Homa.

Max Homa is a frequent visitor to many golf podcasts. He is also seen voicing his personal opinions on social media. LGPA Tour is on the rise with its top-quality golf and competitiveness. The Tour now seems to have won the hearts of many fans after introducing a different style of viewing for fans.

LGPA give credit to Max Homa

LGPA’s new feature gives the fans a completely different perspective of a tournament. The “Cut Cam” shows the fans the final shot highlights of the second round prior to the player making the cut.

It also showed the reaction of the family members after the players reached the next round. The LGPA Tour shared its first demo of the Cut Cam on Twitter by sharing Bianca Pagoda’s final shot of the second round at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

In the clip, Pagoda’s family can also be seen having a moment of joy following her shot. The LGPA Tour gave the credit for this idea to Max Homa who has frequently criticized the regular broadcasting of the Golf Tournaments. Homa acknowledged the credit of LGPA by retweeting the post. The 31-year-old is already making a difference in the world of golf.

LGPA Tour on the rise

The LGPA Tour has been making the headlines in recent times for all the good reasons. With men’s Golf currently having a Tour War between PGA Tour and LIV Golf, the LGPA has come out as the winner.

With the arrival of emerging talents like Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko, Minjee Lee, and many others, the LGPA Tour looks stacked up for the coming years. All these stars are under the age of 30 and yet have managed to get hold of a Major.

The KPMG and the PGA of America had upsurged the purse of this year’s KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. The previous purse of $4.5 million was increased to a whopping $9 million, with the winner taking home $1.35 million.

With the LGPA Tour currently having its third Major of the calender at the Congressional Blue Course at Maryland. The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is heading to its final round on Sunday.
