Woods has always been known to have an exquisite fashion on the golfing course. But a recent update on the internet has gone ahead to surprise the community as the legend was seen embracing the video game, like a true fan it seems!

Tiger Woods and his affection for Call of Duty

Tiger Woods, aside from his skills, is also known for his exclusive contract with Nike as the $153.93 billion giant had signed a deal with him in 2013 worth $200 million. Moreover, he has always been spotted on the course sporting attire made by the sports gear company. However, a recent sighting says otherwise as Call of Duty enters the fray.

A series of pictures were uploaded on Twitter by NUCLR GOLF as the 82x PGA Tour winner was seen engaging in a game of golf with a few of his fans at The Hay, a special 9-hole course at the Pebble Beach. The snaps saw the golfer all smiles in a black hoodie and shorts as the group of five enjoyed themselves on the greens.

However, what caught the attention of many was the 15x major winner wearing a Call of Duty hoodie along with a cap, boosting camouflaging colors to go with the attire. Usually, Tiger Woods is seen to go with shirts or gear made by Nike as the collaboration has always been strong ever since he turned pro in 1996. Moreover, his recent sightings on the golf course, especially at the TGR Invitational, saw him sporting the same.

This is not the first time, though, that the golfer has taken to another brand during his appearance on the greens. He had turned to an updated shoe line after his accident and the subsequent surgery as well, gaining equal attention all around.

Woods and his decision to change footwear

After the accident that the American golfer suffered in 2021, he started wearing FootJoy as he found it easier to move comfortably instead of products that carry the swoosh. Woods had disclosed how he made the decision owing to his swing being much easier to do in the new set of shoes.

The change did come as a shock to the community as many of his fans took to the internet. However, the golfer was quick to reveal how he and Nike were still collaborating together in a bid to come up with a solution to his unfavorable condition.
