A post-Nike era to start for Tiger Woods? The legend of the game had, a while back, ended his longstanding partnership with the Swoosh following a period of 27 years. Well now, it appears the golfer is gearing up for a future without the iconic label as he teased the same with a media event in February.

TWLEGION, a fan page dedicated to Woods, on their X (previously known as Twitter) shared a tweet mentioning how the media event will take place in Pacific Palisades, California, on February 12, the Monday of the Genesis Invitational. He would be doing so to “unveil his new clothing line.” Moreover, the invitation did not reveal the name of the brand but said, “Come be a part of the next chapter.”

Interestingly, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, the rumor mills of the industry have already started dishing out speculations about the 15X major champ’s possible partnership with another label. Enter TaylorMade.

Even though the Sunday Red tradition has been a part of the golfer and Nike’s partnership over the longstanding relationship, it appears he would not stop engaging in the same anytime soon. What’s more, reports indicating TaylorMade Lifestyle Ventures LLC applying for the Sunday Red trademark on December 13 in a well-timed fashion amidst the Nike split pointed to yet another possible alliance brewing between the label and Mr. T.
