Just one day remains until the 15th event of the 2024 PGA Tour calendar crowns its winner. Yes, the Valero Texas Open will see itself end on Sunday, March 7. Meanwhile, many top athletes, including the likes of defending champion Corey Conners, Ludvig Aberg, and Rory McIlroy, among others, have been duking it out.

The reason is quite obvious. They want to claim the trophy and the title of champion for themselves. But that’s not all the event provides for the winner, who will also take home a massive 7-figure check.

A total of 156 athletes teed off their journey from TPC San Antonio. However, many failed to make the cut, as only 82 golfers moved to the third round on Saturday. But more importantly, the fans sure are in for an exciting final day of golf, all thanks to the leaders of the tournament, including the likes of Akshay Bhatia, who is at T1, Denny McCarthy at T2, and Aberg at T6, among many others.

The defending champion, Conners, seems to have had it rough this time around since he is currently at T44 with an even-par score over the three days. Meanwhile, McIlroy is tied for T7 at the moment with four others, including Rico Hoey, Stewart Cink, and Alex Noren.
