The weather at Pebble Beach may throw yet another curve ball at the PGA Tour pros just before the WM Phoenix Open. Just a few hours ago, the PGA Tour announced its winner for the Pro-Am, Wyndham Clark, who earned his third Tour victory at Pebble Beach. The event was abruptly cut short as the weather on the Monterey Peninsula has been affected by an incoming storm.

The storm had hampered the game and only 54 holes were played. The Tour will now move to the next stop on its events calendar, which is the TPC Scottsdale, where Pro-Am-bound players should be after three days. Will the weather allow a safe passage of the PGA Tour pros to Arizona?

More weather challenges await for the Tour Pros

The WM Phoenix Open will start in only three days. The event will see Scottie Scheffler looking for his three-peat victory. However, he will have to reach there in time and without much exhaustion, which the weather at Pebble Beach may not allow.

The Monterey Peninsula has been hit by a storm. There is high wind and extreme darkness in the area. To reach the Scottsdale greens, the Tour pros can either take a flight or drive there. However, according to KSBW News, due to the bad weather, several flights may get delayed or canceled.

The only other option that remains is driving, which takes about 10 hours to Scottsdale, Arizona. The PGA Tour pros who played the three rounds at Pebble Beach might be in for long, exhaustive travel. If the flights are canceled or delayed, the golfers will have their reset timing before the WM Phoenix Open gets cut short, causing a bit of stress to their mental and physical health.

Moreover, it has been revealed how important it is for golfers to be home and spend time with their families. With the worsening water, the golfers may suffer another blow from the turbulent weather conditions in California. How will nature treat PGA Tour pros in Arizona?

Though the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am could not see the sun and had to be only for three days, the pros and fans alike would be expecting the WM Phoenix Open to be a source of recovery for entertainment and a better game. However, per Weather.com, the first day of the event is partly cloudy with a forecast to have a 60 percent chance of rain, starting in the morning and continuing till the afternoon.

For the Friday and Saturday rounds, the weather is predicted to have 50–60% chances of a shower, with only the final round forecasted as a sunny day. If, after the chaos at Pebble Beach, the golfers are met by another natural hurdle, it will become a disappointing condition for them and the fans.
