There have been a lot of golfers who have turned the heads of many in the golfing world. They have done so by managing to display their exceptional skills on the course over the years. And, Scottie Scheffler has done exactly the same as he made a mark in the sport through his amazing hard work and perseverance to claim the spot of the No. 1 golfer in the world.

The professional has been having a wonderful time on the greens for the past couple of years now. However, after a disappointing heartbreak at the Ryder Cup, a little while back, the golfer has been missing in action for some time. And now, the American himself has shared an update on his social media handle, not too long ago, allowing his fans a glimpse of his whereabouts, much to the surprise of his fans!

Scheffler has shown amazing tenacity on the course as he managed a total of twelve top-10 finishes, including two wins at the Players Championship and the WM Phoenix Open in 2023. However, the biennial prestigious tournament saw a dismal performance by the PGA Tour pro, following which he decided to take a break from the game.

A post was shared by the 27-year-old on his Instagram, earlier, all the while giving us a peek into his life. The series of snaps and videos shared by the 1X major winner showed himself in the midst of a forest in Walland, Tennessee.

The 6X PGA Tour champ would have wanted a break from the busy schedule of playing on the greens. He uploaded the same with the caption, “Downtime in TN,” all the while expressing his gratitude for being able to take some time off from golf. The first picture shows a lake, the second is a board game with coffee on the table with the next snap that of his wife walking down a leafy path.

Many can’t help but envy the athlete for being able to spend his spare time in such a beautiful place. Well, the American does need the same since he experienced a dismal time at the Ryder Cup that took place a while back.

The European squad was able to dominate their rivals scoring 16.5-11.5 and clinch the trophy and title of champions for themselves at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club. However, for the Americans, it was a disappointing tournament as many, including Scheffler, could only manage to put up a sub-par performance over the three days.

The 2022 Masters Tournament champ played a total of four matches, one fourball, two foursomes, and one singles. Scheffler could not register a single win, thereby losing on one of the foursomes and the fourballs, all the while tying the singles match against Jon Rahm, thereby bringing his stats to 0-2-2 (W-L-T).

Well, one can hope that the break is what the athlete needs to be able to get back up on his feet. Moreover, his fans in the golf world would be waiting for the player to push himself forward to cement his place at the top spot on the OWGR.
