As the Europeans bagged another triumph on their home turf defeating the Americans by a 5-point lead, the ground in ancient Rome lit up in blue and yellow colors.

Amidst this, one of the prominent methods of celebration for the European squad has been the post-tournament pictures with their wives and partners. Alas! Viktor Hovland’s company amidst his Ryder Cup team’s busy family moments

After displaying an exceptional performance on the Italian greens, the European team posed for group pictures with their Ryder Cup trophy. Amidst the scenes of celebrations all around and all the players showcasing their delight, one particularly funny picture went viral all around the golf world.

It was the PGA Tour’s official Twitter handle that uploaded a group photo of the European team. In the said snippet, all players were seen kissing their wives or girlfriends.

However, the humor kicks in when eyes fall on the right end of the click. In the corner besides the happy couples, Norwegian golfer Viktor Hovland could be seen smiling at the camera standing with his hand on the shoulder of the European team’s vice-captain, Jośe Maria Olazabal.

The PGA Tour account had captioned the photo with a sympathetic “Viktor” followed by a laughing emoji. Post this picture, Hovland grabbed a lucky chance to pose with the WAGs of his teammates, with him in the center and all of them surrounding him. The Tour account once again highlighted the laughing image of the golfer, captioning, “Never change, Viktor.”

Even fans under the post could not hold back from acknowledging the chance as Hovland tagged along with his single-man vibes. Ranging from “married to the game” to “ladies will find him,” the golf admirers held onto the opportunity to join in on the fun of these pictures. Amidst the post-victory enjoyment, the golf world also recalled the Ryder Cup gala witnessing the same situation for Hovland.

The pre-tournament gala scenes matched the post-victory celebrations for Hovland

Despite the touch of hilarity to Viktor Hovland’s post-win celebrations, a similar setup was witnessed by the golf world at the gala in Rome four days prior. As the pictures of golfers on both teams with their wives, girlfriends, and fiance came forth, the Norwegian had an all-together different person by his side.

This plus one was none other than the European vice-captain once again, Jose Maria Olazabal. From the pictures at the gala, the chuckle on both their faces is quite visible. The two stars on the European Team entered the gala grounds sporting the classic all-black with white shirts.

Golf.com even referred to the scene as the one that definitely “stole the show.” Apart from this, Hovland also took pictures with Tyrrell Hatton and his wife Emily. In the picture, the three of them could be seen laughing wholeheartedly as the clicks resonated around. While the moments off the field highlighted the single life of Viktor Hovland, it didn’t stop him from embracing the team spirit.
