“You can talk about how golf can be such a lonely game,” the tournament commentator said, watching Amy Mickelson’s celebration. “But you can share it, and you can win it for someone else.” He further added, “We’ve seen dedicated efforts before, dedication victories. This is gonna rank right up there with the best you’ll ever see.”

It was sure from the first round itself that Phil Mickelson would do anything to win his third Masters in 2010. He opened round 1 with an incredible 67 and finished the tournament with a tournament-best total of 272, since Tiger Woods achieved it in 2001. Notably, he made 16 birdies throughout the event.
“I’m in love with this place; it brings out the best in me,” Mickelson said after the victory. “I wasn’t sure if she was going to be there today,” the golfer explained how he felt about his wife being there. “To walk off the green and share that with her is very emotional for us.”
