The world number one Rory McIlroy clinched the top position in the final few shots against the LIV defector Patrick Reed. Though it is a rare sight where the six-time Major winner is seen admiring a PGA Tour star in recent months, McIlroy’s win was not easy.
After almost ending his 18th-hole tee shot in the pond, Rory bounced back with a birdie to claim victorious. With Mickelson enjoying the incredible golf, he will soon be competing again with LIV Golf, as he still looks for his maiden win in the lucrative Tour.
