According to Musk, he has to pay over $11 billion in taxes this year. He wrote on his Twitter “For those wondering, I will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year”. Selling his stock has been connected to the same, many people sharing their various opinions.

Mickelson chose to thank Musk for the insane amount, something which fans found interesting and confusing at the same time. A select few remained unamused, wondering what six-time major winner was hinting at. “Just wanted to say thank you,” he said. “That’s only for the year. I can’t imagine how much you’ve paid the government over the years but thank you”.
