“I think it just takes a disruptor like LIV to get things done,” he said. “They’ve been leading in many ways, and I’m very happy that they are leading in this particular area…I hope…the TOUR follows. I think it’s good for golf,” Mickelson pointed towards the PGA Tour to learn from LIV Golf and allow the players to wear shorts in their tournaments as well. Although Mickelson is not going to appear in any PGA Tour events soon, he still showed concern for his fellow golfers still playing on the former tour.
