Phil Mickelson may have always been considered one of the greatest golfers of this generation. However, Lefty is also one of the richest golfers in the world. Though Mickelson has been enjoying the 9-figure contract from the Saudi-backed LIV Golf, that doesn’t undermine the earnings the golfer had during his PGA Tour days. Today we take a look at how LIV Golf money earned by Phil Mickelson eroded his PGA Tour earnings in a few months.

Phil Mickelson had been part of the PGA Tour for nearly three decades. The golfer made his debut back in 1992. Since then, Phil has had 45 PGA Tour wins which also include his 6 Major wins. The 52-year-old was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2012.

With such success in the sport, it is quite apparent that Lefty has earned a lot during his tenure at the PGA Tour. Nonetheless, Mickelson’s earnings in LIV Golf belittled his earnings on the American Tour in a matter of few months.
