Phil Mickelson was one of the first few players to join the LIV Golf league putting his entire PGA Tour career at risk. And as expected, the PGA Tour suspended him for two long years. Mickelson was not happy with how the PGA Tour was treating its players financially as well as in a lot of other ways. But after PGA’s recent announcement, Lefty discussed that the Tour is now doing what he asked them to do long ago.

But now, the tour has made several changes in its policies and the way it functions to match those of LIV Golf to retain the remaining players.

It looks like the tour has considered Lefty’s comments. In an interview, a reporter asked Mickelson if he feels vindicated. He replied, “I don’t think vindication is what I would say. I would say I’m generally happy that the top players…are being listened to. And what they are doing for the Tour is being valued now. I’m happy to see that happen.’’

Mickelson has no interest in talking to Jay Monahan about PGA Tour issues anymore
Phil Mickelson said that whatever Jay Monahan has to do with the PGA Tour “really doesn’t matter” to him. He feels that the LIV Golf league is much better at listening to ideas and implementing them quickly. “I’m very happy with the fluidity of LIV…I just don’t want to go back and relive that,’’ he added. It looks like the tables have now turned on the PGA Tour. According to Mickelson’s statements, he doesn’t want to go back to the tour even after they have changed their policies.
