The lefty’s mother talked about how Mickelson’s facial hair has made him unrecognizable. At the same time, this had made going out with the American professional more fun, and how Mickelson is enjoying his time away from golf.
Mary said, “I didn’t recognize him at first. He had a little bit of a beard and mustache. I don’t ever remember him doing that before. Not too many people recognize him, so it’s been fun to be able to go out with him.”

And it’s hard when you have to say no, when you don’t have the time to spend. But he has taken a lot of time with our family.” Moreover, Mary’s words prove that Mickelson seems to enjoy his time away from competitive golf. When did Phil Mickelson last win a regular PGA Tour event?
Phil won his last regular PGA Tour event in the 2018-2019 season. He won the 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Mickelson ended the event with an overall score of 19-under-par. As a result, he won the event with a comfortable three-shot lead on Sunday. Moreover, he carded a final round of seven-under-par, 65 at Pebble Beach Golf Links to finish on the top of the leaderboard.

Mickelson’s final round of 65 included three birdies and six pars on the opening nine holes. As a result, he moved out in three-under-par, 33. The lefty made four birdies and five pars to make the turn in bogey-free four-under-par, 32. Paul Casey finished as the runner-up to Mickelson. He ended the event with an overall score of 16-under-par. In the end, he had to settle for a solo second position on the leaderboard.
