Koepka has had a very successful season. After being plagued by injuries throughout the previous year, he made a comeback to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Moving into the year, he finished second at the PGA Championship, where Phil Mickelson became the oldest man to win a major tournament.

Subsequently, he played the Ryder Cup, where team U.S. won 19-9 and Koepka went 2-2-0 where he won his Sunday Singles. To close off the year in style, he crushed fellow golfer Bryson in the fifth iteration of The Match.
