Which golfers changed their relationship status to committed this year?

Patrick Cantlay: In October, Cantlay made headlines with his appearance in the Ryder Cup, and just a day after the final match, he tied the knot with his fiance Nikki Guidish at St. Regis, Rome. The two made their romance official two years ago, in 2021, at the Memorial Tournament. After that, Guidish regularly used to attend Cantlay’s tournaments. They got engaged last year in September, and Cantlay finally sealed the deal this year.

Joaquin Niemann: LIV’s Niemann too is among those who got married this year. He proposed to his girlfriend Christina Hellema Puga in late July, following which the two got married on September 2 in La Serena, Chile. In attendance was another golfer, Mito Pereira. Lady Luck smiled at Niemann after that, as Niemann secured his first win this year at the ISPS Handa Australian Open in early December.

Mike Weir: The 2003 Masters winner, got married to Bachelor’s alum Michelle Money. On November 19th, the couple bonded in holy matrimony in Hawaii. The two had been dating for seven years. Their wedding was exclusively covered by People magazine. Before their wedding, Money told the magazine, “I am so excited to look Mike in the eyes in front of our girls and commit myself to him for time and eternity.”

While the above are the ones to get married, there are also a few who have taken the first and most important step towards it by getting engaged.

Matt Fitzpatrick– Besides making golf records, Fitzpatrick also popped the big question this year. Miss New Jersey USA runner-up Katherine Gaal will soon be his wife. The two made it official on Instagram in January, and Gaal was a caddie for him at the Masters Par 3 contest in April. Fitzpatrick lost no time in locking it down and asked her the big question in late September.

Akshay Bhatia: In September, one of the talented names on the PGA Tour, Bhatia, bent down on one knee in the vineyards of Napa Valley and proposed to his girlfriend, Presleigh Schultz. Bhatia has been dating Schultz, a social media personality, for the last two years after the golfer slid into her DMs. The two instantly hit it off, and Schultz was also his caddie at the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic. The two will get married soon enough.
