The 15-time major winner has been spending a lot of time helping his son with his game in several tournaments. And their hard work seemed to pay off as Woods mentioned how the young golfer had qualified for the event with his best round ever. In a video shared by the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship, Woods said, “It was incredible! Just the fact that he earned his way into the event by shooting his lowest round he’s ever shot”.

However, playing commendable golf was not the most important aspect of Charlie’s game according to his old man. As he continued to talk about the “big picture”, Woods stated that he loved the way Charlie enjoyed the game. “It was a lot of fun for both of us,” Woods said.

“I told [Charlie], ‘Don’t copy my swing. Copy Rory’s,’” said the golf legend during the third round of the Hero World Challenge. “Have you ever seen Rory off balance in a shot?…Not ever. That’s one of the things my dad instilled in me…You can swing as hard as you want, but you need to have balance.”
