He also added, “I would hope [the guys look up to him]. I know he’s accomplished a lot more than I have. He’s been out here longer. He’s been more successful.”

Thomas has been an admirer of Rory’s form and game. He was a newbie when he entered the course and saw Rory at Bear’s Club. He went up to him and expressed his eagerness for learning. With no delay, Rory agreed to play with him and they exchanged numbers. This is how they hit it off and till today, they both have been great golfers and good friends. And recently, their warm gesture melted people’s hearts.
