Rare Video Clip Shows a 14-Year-Old Bryson DeChambeau on the Grind

Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most prominent golfers on the PGA Tour. He has won eight PGA Tours and a major championship in his career so far. However, currently, he is trying to change his playing style with his power game. Bryson bulked up and is trying to gain some insane clubhead speed, especially with his driver. 

Recently he even competed at the World Long Drivers Championship just after the Ryder Cup and became the first-ever Tour pro to do so. Notably, he had an excellent event as he finished in the top-8.

In other interesting news, a new video of 14-year-old Bryson DeChambeau is making the rounds of the internet, leaving fans pleasantly surprised.

14-year-old Bryson DeChambeau, who was the top-ranked teenager in California 

Bryson DeChambeau was a mere 14-year-old who explained how he picked up the game as a kid. Notably, Bryson started competing in tournaments when he was 8. However, it wasn’t long before he became the top-ranked teenager in California and started gaining recognition in the golfing world.

“I don’t really try to think about that as much. But it’s very, very fun for me. I enjoy having that reputation right now,” he says, on being the top-ranked teenager in California. Recalling his initial days, long drivers posted this video on their Instagram handle. 

Undoubtedly, Bryson has come a long way since, from getting on the PGA tour to becoming an eight-time champion and a Ryder Cup champion. Now, he is trying to revolutionize golf by bulking up and gaining distance off the tee.

Notably, at 14, even though most of his time went in golfing, Bryson maintained a very high-grade point. DeChambeau had an excellent grade point average of 4.0 (A+), and he aspired to study at Stanford on golfing scholarship. However, Bryson attended Southern Methodist University and had a great collegiate golf career as well.
