Paige Spiranac is a former LPGA golfer who now works as a golf instructor as well as a social media influencer. The woman has more than 260,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel and over 3.5 million Instagram followers. Spiranac also runs a podcast by the name “Playing A Round with Paige Renee” and talks about everything going on in the golf world.

Spiranac has tons of fans around the world. However, there are events where she feels scared of some of the actions taken by her followers.

In a recent event, Spiranac claimed to be “really scared” after a fan threatened the internet sensation.

Paige Spianac opens up about a scary encounter with a fan.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Spiranac talked about an “unhinged” fan that approached her. Spiranac was warming up for the recently held event at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada. The golfer described how the fan came up to her and said a few things that got her really scared.

“There was some guy… and he comes up and asks me for a picture, it’s fine at first. And then, he goes into how I scammed him out of $10,000 and he started threatening me. It was a really really scary situation,” She said.

Spiranac also added that the event affected her game as well, as she could not stop thinking about it.

Paige Spiranac reveals the truth behind the situation.

Spiranac said that the man had been scammed by a fake profile in her name, which also had a fake number. She said that she called her agent and her team to handle the situation. It was said that the security had tried to warn the fan and told him not to approach the golfer. But Spiranac said that she saw the man on the 2nd hole, but luckily her agent handled the situation before it got out of hand.

Spiranac also added that she wanted the fan to be removed from the property, but that did not happen for some reason. However, she said it was not the first time she had dealt with “angry” and “hostile” male fans. The golfer also mentioned that she does not leave her home much, nor does she go out due to the scary encounter with the fan. Can’t imagine what she goes through on a daily basis. Being in the limelight has its perks, but it comes at a cost, especially when you’re a woman.
