With her massive social media presence, Paige Spiranac tries to educate everyone on many modern concerns. Along with mental health and bullying, the golf beauty often talks about inequality in the sport of golf. The ex-pro golfer has been playing golf for decades now and never fails to point out the conservativeness of the sport.

Spiranac has suffered a lot of hate as a golfer for the way she dresses on the course. She claims that golf officials made the women in the sport feel insecure and ashamed of their bodies.

In July 2017, the LPGA Tour imposed a few new regulations for women golfers relating to their dress code. This included a ban of “plunging necklines,” leggings, short skirts, and joggers. The officials also imposed a $1,000 fine on any pro caught breaking these new rules on the course.

Maxim 2022’s Sexiest Woman Alive was disappointed with the tour. Despite not playing for the LPGA, she slammed them for their newly imposed rules. She stated, “I fear that these new rules are stifling the growth of the women’s game.”

The golf beauty then questioned the rules’ ambiguity. She asked, “Take the vague banning of ‘plunging necklines’, what constitutes a plunging neckline?” She claimed that the rule was imposed to eliminate any sign of women’s cleav*ge from the sport.

Spiranac then lashed out at the LPGA, pointing out that women’s different body types would mean that “a curvier, fuller-figured woman would be chided and fined far more often than a woman with a smaller bust.” This, in turn, would make the player feel self-conscious about their bodies.

Furious with the rules, she said, “This new rule serves as yet another reason for women to feel ashamed of their bodies.” Paige added, that the rules did not aim toward the progress of either the equality of women or the sport.

Spiranac said that she “may not go down in history as the best female golfer” in history but would do everything in her power “to grow the game.” The blonde beauty certainly works toward that goal every day. She calls out any wrong she sees and using her online presence to spread awareness about it.
