‘Regression at its Finest’: Max Homa

The golf world knows Max Homa as the incredibly talented player that he is. However, Twitter knows him as an absolute troller. His recent tweet, taking a dig on the Fore Play podcasters, is proof of the same as he leaves fans in splits yet again.

Taking to Twitter, Homa said, “I played against the 10 best golfers in the world last week, and today I’m playing 4 podcasters in a match. Regression at its finest #golf.”

Homa just competed in the Genesis Invitational last week. Since there he played with top-class golfers and now he played with four podcasters, he made a hilarious comparison between his competitors.

Notably, his match with the podcasters was not telecasted live but will be uploaded sometime next week. 

Max Homa trolled the podcasters even before the match!

Relentlessly, Homa had begun trolling the podcasters even before he faced them on the course.

One of the four podcasters, Riggs, invited fans to enjoy the match between Homa and his group. Along with the pictures of Homa with his trophy, he also uploaded a picture of four of them posing in front of their private jet, just before takeoff.

While fans saw a simple tweet, Max saw an opportunity as he trolled them yet again. He retweeted Riggs’ post, saying, “should have saved the money from the private jet to purchase some mulligans.”

The 2022 Genesis Invitational 

The 2022 Genesis Invitational ended on the 20th of February, with Chile’s Joaquin Niemann winning the tournament. Joaquin won the championship with an even-par 71 in the final round. Hence, he became the first wire-to-wire winner of The Genesis Invitational in 53 years.

America’s Collin Morikawa and Cameron Young tied for second place with a total score of 17-under par. The rising star, Viktor Hovland, could only secure a T4 position with Adam Scott; the duo scored a 14-under in the tournament.As for Homa, he was tied for tenth place with Rory McIlroy, with a score of -10.
