Then came the Travelers Championship, which was hectic for more reasons than one. Facing a controversial situation in the media for a friendly jibe between cohorts, the Pro golfer was already feeling drained. This time however he managed to make it into the top 10 despite his emotional stress but it has not been a kind tour for him this year.

‘Keep the Trash Talk Coming’: Hours After ‘F****ng’ Remarks, Paige Spiranac Defends Justin Thomas Over His Bold Comments

With the Rocket mortgage Classic underway where he missed another cut, JT had an opportunity to open up to the media about his distress. However, it’s not all bad for the PGA Tour golfer. When asked by the reporter how he manages to keep his sanity intact because “golf is a mental game”, Justin Thomas shared a rather heartfelt exchange with his wife that helped uplift his spirits. Golf.com shared the inspiring story on Twitter.

“All the credit to, honestly, my wife who Wednesday night last week sent me a text that I woke up to Thursday,” he stated. It wasn’t what he expected after the disappointing swings he delivered. Instead, it was a reminder. “Just kind of, it resonated to me and it really hit home better than anything I’ve heard,” JT admitted to the reporter.

He went on to paraphrase the contents of the heartfelt text message. “Basically said remember why you love this game and why you play this game and why you’re out there; just enjoy that and kind of take it in.”

Thomas felt moved by his wife’s kind and supportive gesture. “So last week, any kind of challenge I faced, anything good that happened, anything bad that happened, I just kind of remembered this is why I play professional golf and that’s, it’s why I’m doing this.”

Seems like Jillian Wisniewski knows her husband well. Even though she couldn’t hold his hand or stand by his side to show her appreciation, she knew exactly what to say and when to say it.

Thomas seems to be a very lucky man to have a wife like Jillian Wisniewski. She is quite familiar with the sport he dedicated his life to and understands his stress. She has been a great source of support and companionship for the PGA Tour golfer during his hard times.

After the whirlwind news of their wedding last year, the couple has been on the media’s radar. The couple seems to be head-over-heels for each other. And even though Wisniewski does not belong to the world of golf, or any sport for that matter, her encouragement for her husband is profound. They make an adorable pairing and fans are simply loving them together.

Now with the text message sent by her to her Pro golfer husband, it just goes to show JT’s wife is in it for the ride. She knows how to make him feel better.
