REPORT: LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman’s Phenomenal Run at the Rival Golf League May Come to an End Soon

Ever Since LIV Golf was founded, there has been constant talk about its ‘rivalry’ with the PGA Tour. Now, as per recent news, the person who probably bet the most on this venture, Greg Norman, is soon going to go.

Norman was one of the top names that openly came forward and helped set LIV Golf up in its initial days. However, this new LIV Golf update will blow your mind.

LIV Golf announces a change of power personnel

Greg Norman, the current CEO of LIV Golf, has put a lot into its development. However, as time progresses, the pro golfing league is now set to move him upstairs and replace the CEO of LIV Golf.

As per sources, the name that has come forward as Norman’s replacement is Mark King. King was the one-time CEO of TaylorMade as he worked his way up the position. He is the current CEO of Taco Bell.

Reportedly, King recently met with a huge name in LIV Golf. He is being pursued by the Saudi Arabia-backed circuit to be LIV Golf’s new CEO.

Michael Bamberger also described what Mark said to him. According to him, Mark said, “in five years LIV Golf will be another tour among existing tours, and everybody will learn to get along.”

Mark King has a golden record of growing companies he works with. Only time will tell how the cards play out for King when it comes to LIV Golf.

LIV makes another move to outplay the PGA Tour?

The rivalry between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour dates back to the former’s inception in October 2021. Things have changed rapidly since then, but the animosity between the two has remained constant, if not increased.

However, this rivalry might eventually be good for fans as both golfing titans have made moves to improve themselves. A similar case recently came to light when Greg Norman’s LIV League chose to take over territory previously held by the PGA Tour.

Yes, you heard it right. As per recent news, LIV Golf is making moves to have a docu-series produced about it. This was done after the PGA Tour’s decision to produce a show on similar lines.

The rival leagues have met once more. This time, though, the battle isn’t just about golf. According to sources, LIV is yet to sign this business agreement. It is expected that the show will be similar to the popular F1 show ‘Drive to Survive.’ However, only time will tell how LIV and PGA’s new move will pan out in the future.
