He said, “I think there is no more time to lose; LIV and PGA will have to find an agreement and speak for the good of our sport.”

He said, “Golf is a small world, not like soccer. Therefore, all the more reason we must stand together and find a way to ensure that there are no breakups in the future.” The rivalry between LIV and the PGA has been detrimental to the sport, and it will be the case, unless there is an agreement, according to McIlroy. LIV defectors have been barred from playing at majors, and the PGA is losing many skilled players as a result.
