‘Rory McIlroy Should Issue an Apology to Every Single LIV Golfer Especially Phil Mickelson’: Donald Trump’s Favorite Author Makes a Damning Statement

Rory McIlroy has more fans than most other golfers today. And one of the reasons is his recent Tour Championship victory. However, another reason for his fandom is his loyalty to the PGA Tour. But being famous also brings along critics, and in McIlroy’s case, some of his critics just don’t quit messing with him. The golfer’s long time critic, Nick Adams, recently took another hit at him with his latest tweet.

Nick Adams takes a shot at Rory McIlroy

It has not been very long since the time Nick Adams called McIlroy a fraud. Donald Trump’s favorite author took another blow at the Irish golfer by asking him to apologize to all the LIV Golf players. He also mentioned Phil Mickelson’s name in his tweet and said that McIlroy needed to “especially” apologize to the six-time major champion.

In his tweet, he said, “Rory McIlroy should issue an apology to every single LIV Golfer especially Phil Mickelson. Otherwise he has no class”. Adams’ tweets about McIlroy generally proves to be baseless and unreasonable. And the same happened with this one where no one understood the context of the expected apology.

Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson are currently playing on to rival leagues. While Mickelson is acting as the face of LIV Golf, McIlroy is setting higher bars on the PGA Tour. Both golfers are currently at the top in their respective tours. But it looks like Adams wants McIlroy to join the LIV Golf league. Fans are also assuming the same as there is no other imaginable reason for Adams to target a PGA Tour professional.

Why does Nick Adams keep targeting McIlroy?

There is no official reason or statement about Adams hating on McIlroy. But it is not a new case where Adams unnecessarily tried to provoke the golfer. However, McIlroy rarely pays any attention to his critics, including Adams. But fans believe that since the time former POTUS Trump appreciated Adams’ work, he has been following Trump on every path he travels. And there is no better explanation for Adams’ support towards LIV Golf than Trump backing the league and Greg Norman.

To back this claim, Adams even called McIlroy a fraud and said that people needed to be like Greg Norman. His support for the Saudi-backed league is clear in front of the world. However, supporting the rival league doesn’t imply making hateful comments about a player from the former tour. But as far as Adams is concerned, he just doesn’t seem to stop!
