Chills! American Fans Produce Electric Rendition of Star-Spangled Banner at Ryder Cup 2020

The 43rd Ryder Cup is currently underway at the Whistling Straits, Wisconsin. Meanwhile, the home team is off to an incredible start as they conclude day 2 with a score of 11-5 as their prominent players like Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and others stepped up in the morning foursome session. On the other hand, Europe has had a horrendous event so far and will be hopeful of finishing it on a higher note. 

Meanwhile, Team USA won five matches out of eight on day 2. Hence, on the final day, they need a minimum of three wins and a tie. Moreover, the crowd support for the home team has been phenomenal, and the atmosphere has been electric.

Fans create an electric atmosphere at the 2020 Ryder Cup

Fans have created an electrifying atmosphere at the Whistling Straits right from day one. There have been around 35 to 40 thousand people each day, making this event one of the best. Meanwhile, RiggsBarstool shared a video where fans can are singing the anthem on the first tee. He shared the video with a caption. “I’ve said this for years – Best pump-up song in the league. Always will be”.

Watching 40k people sing The Star-Spangled Banner on the first tee singing the anthem, would give chills to anyone. At the Ryder Cup, fans are everything. They bring excitement to this biennial event and provide energy that can swing a match or sway an entire day of competition.

Meanwhile, American fans have flooded Whistling Straits with red, white, and blue. While the Europeans, who are the minority, wore their fair share of blue. European fans weren’t allowed to travel from overseas to Whistling Straits due to Covid-19 restrictions, leaving a lopsided American crowd.

Now, with just one final day remaining, Team USA looks confident and set to win the Ryder Cup 2020. The dominant home team requires a minimum of three wins and a tie, while the Europeans need nine victories out of the final twelve games.
