Tiger Woods is undoubtedly one of the most decorated sports personalities, with a plethora of PGA Tour wins, career earnings, and consecutive cuts under his belt. However, all these accomplishments pale in comparison to the pride he feels for his daughter, Sam Woods. Named after her father’s nickname, Sam has been a constant source of joy and comfort in Woods’s life, especially during difficult times. From his divorce from Elin Nordegren to the recent passing of his mother, Kultida, Sam has been a rock for her father. But she is not just a daughter, she is an athlete, one who’s making waves—in a different field than her father.

Sam made headlines with her outstanding performance on the soccer field, leading the Benjamin High School girls’ soccer team to a state title. Woods was beaming with pride as he watched his daughter play, his face a picture of joy and delight. In the Class 2A state semifinals, Sam’s team, Benjamin, rallied to defeat Lakeland Christian 2-1, with Sam playing a crucial role in the team’s defense. Her father, Woods, was in attendance, cheering her on from the sidelines.

With this win, Benjamin advanced to the state championship match, where they will face the winner of Ransom Everglades and Episcopal School of Jacksonville. As the soccer season comes to a close, Sam will shift her focus to the spring track and field season, where she competes in hurdles and middle distance events for Benjamin. With three goals and an assist this year, Sam has already shown her athletic prowess on the soccer field and now, she’s set to take on new challenges in track and field.

Charlie Woods’s amazing game at the 2024 PNC Championship

Tiger Woods was once again teaming up with his 15-year-old son Charlie at the PNC Championship, while his 17-year-old daughter Sam was back as Charlie’s caddie. The family trio looked adorable as they posed for a photo, all wearing matching Sunday Red outfits from Woods’s Sun Day Red brand. The tournament, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, was a special occasion for the Woods family, and they made the most of it.

The day was made even more memorable when Charlie achieved his first-ever hole-in-one on the 174-yard par-3 4th hole. Using a 7-iron, Charlie’s shot landed perfectly in the cup, leaving him and his father in awe. “It was a perfect 7-iron, so I just kind of hit it … little cut 7,” Charlie said after his impressive shot.

Woods, who shares his children with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, has spoken about how much he cherishes these moments with his kids. “I just love being with them and seeing what they’re doing, what they’re capable of doing — the joys, the shifts of interest. It’s just fun. We have a great time together,” he said, per Sports Illustrated. While the next generation of Woods are just starting, it’s looking like a promising run wherever they choose to go.
