Following The Masters, Scottie Scheffler has found himself under the spotlight as one of the PGA Tour’s finest. His career seems to have taken off with multiple wins, earning him fans and praise from across the world. Of course, being the World No. 1 is not without its pressures.
In fact, Scheffler seems to believe that a few events might be more stressful than The Masters’ final round.

Scheffler has been at the top of his game this year, even overtaking Jon Rahm as the World No. 1 earlier. However, considering his struggles, Scheffler seems to be facing less pressure while playing the major.

During a recent interview, Scheffler spoke about his Q-School experience, when he worked hard to get his Korn Ferry Card and win his first event. And when Scheffler had his first win, he had to chase the No. 1 title. Those things never changed for Scheffler, as there is always more pressure when one is fighting for their career.

“I would say there’s more pressure going into the final round of Q-School than there is Masters Sunday,” Scheffler said. “Because, if I fail at Q-School, I’ve got a whole other year where I don’t have anywhere to play”.

After all, trying to make a name for yourself is tougher.
What will be Scheffler’s next move?
Having said that, Scheffler has not played on the tour since the Masters. The major win was also his fourth in six events, easily making it the best year of his career. Looking at the momentum his career has picked up, Scheffler will certainly try to win the PGA Championship next.
