VIDEO: Brooks Koepka’s Powerful Tee Shot Astonishingly Lands In a Different Island

After some quiet weeks, the PGA Tour is back with the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Meant to celebrate the winners from 2021, the event assures entertainment on all days. It’s a chance for golfers to start their season on a high note, probably with another win.

Brooks Koepka, who might not have had the best start to the tournament, caught up with the rest soon enough.

The PGA Tour star has always been in the limelight for his game, this one being no different. This time, however, Koepka seems to have drawn in attention for his tee shot. Let’s take a look at what Koepka shot, and where.

While at the Sentry Tournament of Champions this year, it is clear that Koepka has gotten stronger than many of us would have liked to believe. PGA Tour live chose to share a video clip of Koepka with fans, highlighting his tee shot. Fans remained in awe of Koepka’s game reacting and commenting on his form.

“Apparently this @BKoepka tee shot went a little long and landed on a different island,” wrote the account. It’s a back shot of the 31-year-old, who visibly puts too much power into the shot. To everyone’s surprise, it lands on the opposing island.

“I didn’t notice it the first time. Wow,” wrote one fan. “That was quite an iron”.

Most fans marveled at the distance Koepka actually played. Some joked about the shot, wondering if they could hit over the mountains. Of course, some people mentioned Bryson DeChambeau.

DeChambeau and Koepka are a part of their ongoing golfing rivalry, both often exchanging insults online. While the two seemed to have reconciled briefly during the 2020 Ryder Cup, their feud was very much on.
