The Netflix Cup triumph and the unscripted trophy tumble

In the glass city of Las Vegas, the Wynn Golf Club played host to a groundbreaking event that seamlessly merged the worlds of golf and Formula One. Four two-player teams, each a duo of a Formula One speedster and a PGA Tour golfing maestro, gathered at the iconic golf course for a spectacle unlike any other.

JT and Carlos Sainz emerged as the eventual champions after defeating Rickie Fowler and his F1 partner Lando Norris first. The duo won the game in a closest-to-the-pin competition. In the last round of the play, when Gasly missed the hit on the green, Thomas made a strong return and hit inside of Finau’s mark, securing the duo with a worthy cheer.
