Andrew Coltart from Sky Sports had raised sharp criticism of the US team when he dubbed the squad’s preparation as “disgraceful” as he indicated the fact that 9 golfers out of 12 took a five-week break before the prestigious tournament. Other fans were also critical of the team as they took to the tweet to comment the same.

Woods managed to tie the 2008 US Open with Mediate with a score of 283 (-1) over the four days while suffering from a serious leg injury.  The Monday playoff was also tied leading to a sudden death on the 7th hole between the duo that eventually led to the GOAT’s victory. Such a performance was pulled off under immense pain, something which the current team could not do, as commented by a netizen.
