Apart from being called the ‘hulk’ of golf, DeChambeau also considers himself a ‘scientist’ of the game. But there was a time when his analysis before hitting the ball took him so long, that it was mocked by golf fans all across the globe.

Fans react to viral Bryson DeChambeau video
Golf fans found it hilarious when DeChambeau took a long time before attempting a putt during a game. The tournament featured Justin Thomas playing alongside DeChambeau. The video showed the golfer trying to make all the possible calculations before finally using his putter. And Thomas simply waited on the side for DeChambeau to finish off with it. However, after all the hard work he put in, DeChambeau missed the hole when he finally attempted to putt the ball.

As soon as the video went viral on Twitter, fans from all over the world started giving mixed reactions to the incident. Some said that it was “painful” to watch, while others couldn’t watch the whole video to see if he made it.

Some fans even suggested that there should be a time limit for each putt. People came up with ideas saying each shot should be hit within “40-seconds max”.

Although DeChambeau could not display good short-game skills, his long shots are famous among all his fans. And since he is good at the game and has made certain records, fans expect a lot from him in each tournament.

Why did DeChambeau join LIV Golf?
Bryson DeChambeau was among the first few players to join the LIV Golf league. Out of all the players who transitioned to the Saudi-backed circuit, DeChambeau gave the most honest response about his reasons behind joining the league.
When asked about his huge career move, the golfer called it a ‘business decision’. According to DeChambeau, the breakaway league had better financials for the players, and it also allowed him to spend more time with his family.
