How is LIV Golf’s final different from other events?
For starters, the Miami event will grant no prizes for individual events. While each and every LIV event so far has awarded a bumper prize of $4 million out of the total pool of $25 million, the finale will be focused solely on team performances.

Don’t let it fool you into thinking LIV is taking a U-turn here – the prize money remains as glamorous as it has been. The winning team in Miami will be crowned the LIV Golf Invitational Series Team Champion, with a cheque of an absurd $16 million.

The final will also abide by LIV Golf’s fundamentals – every player gets a share of the pie. The players on the winning team will take home prize money worth $4 million. There’s something for the lower-ranked players as well the bottom-placed team will receive $1 million, which roughly translates to $250k for each golfer.
Fans react to title format of LIV Golf
A majority of golf fans have been skeptical about the success of the LIV Golf Series. Fans and golfers alike were not pleased with the introduction of the new league, which ultimately led to the PGA Tour banning its players from taking part in the Saudi-backed series.
However, the eruption has somewhat calmed down as we head towards the inaugural finale of the series. The new format has received a mixed response; some of them are mentioned below:
It’s definitely a more interesting team format than their usual ‘just combine four players’ score’
