Apart from winning the PNC Championship, there is something really interesting that was shared on X. Bernhard Langer plays at the PGA Tour Champions, as the tour has a minimum age limit of 50 years. But even though he qualified for the PGA Tour Champions, the post has shocked fans with him surpassing some PGA Tour players like Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland.

Jamie Kennedy, Director of Digital Content at Golf Digest, shared a post on X where the caption mentioned, “$37 million dollars 💰.” This part of the caption was the amount that Bernhard Langer has earned as a PGA Tour Champion player. The more interesting point that came out of the post was that he made more money than the list of PGA Tour players shared on the post. The post further shared, “Bernhard Langer has made more money on the @ChampionsTour ($37.4m) than the following players have made on the @PGATour.”

Surprisingly, the earning of Langer shared on the post is after he turned 50. Interesting, right?

The 67-year-old German golfer has 46 career victories on the senior circuit. Apart from this, he is the only player to win all five of the senior tour’s majors. The exceptional performance on the senior tour has helped the golfer earn $37 million. However, the figures do not include the Schwab Cup bonuses, which will add another $8.2 million, increasing the total winning to $45.2 million. His victory runs are not showing any stopping sign as it has only been 42 days after his last victory on the PGA Tour Champions. However, he had a nail-biting win with his grandson at the PNC Championship.

How did Bernhard Langer perform with his son at the PNC Championship?

The PNC Championship was one of the best thrillers, as both the great players, Tiger Woods and Bernhard Langer were competing against each other to win the title. The entire tournament had a neck-to-neck competition in which initially, Team Langer was forced down the leaderboard with the first career hole-in-one of Charlie Woods.

However, the team had a great comeback with consistent performance. Later, the final score was a tie with 28-under, which dragged the game to the playoffs. With a very close call, the seemingly ageless Bernhard Langer showcased his finesse with a birdie on the last shot to win the title. Team Langer in the Scramble format has recorded 27 birdies and 3 eagles over 19 holes.

During an interview with the PGA Tour, Langer shared about not being the spectator’s choice at the course. He said, “I seem to enjoy that challenge to be the underdog or to play in tough circumstances. It just helps me to zero in even more.” The senior professional golfer relished the challenge he faced. It was indeed a great showcase of class that even other professional golfers have praised it. What are your thoughts on the performance of Bernhard Langer?
