Brooks Koepka came down to Washington DC following a splendid fifth major victory on Thursday. The high of the 2023 PGA Championship was shortly challenged by the tough course at Trump National Golf Club. As the Smash GC took on the greens for the first round of LIV Golf DC, Captain Brooks managed a couple of birdies. Despite the earlier mishap with his equipment, he still managed to deliver the shot.

While the non-major tournament is on one side, the victory in the second major of the season is on a completely different end. The same was apparent in the press conference at Trump National. Most of the questions revolved around Koepka’s recent victory and his future plans. This included the 2023 U.S. Open and how the Florida Native would juggle the schedule with the upcoming hockey finale at home.

While the love Koepka has for Florida Panthers is perceptible, it won’t be able to overshadow his commitment to his wife. Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka are one of the power couples in the golf world. The two hold close-knit, strong, and reliable relationship dynamics. Thus, it is not unexpected to see the 33-year-old prioritizing his first wedding anniversary which falls on 4th June.

Although it was still dispiriting to watch Brooks’ reply that he might miss the hockey finals especially after the golf world got to witness the golfer’s passion for the team sport. Brooks further commented, “I know the schedule with Dallas winning last night. I think the first game will probably get pushed to probably Friday or Saturday next week. So I can’t go to that one because I’ve got my wedding anniversary, so we’ll be on vacation, so I can’t go to that one.
