Maxim recently named the former professional golfer, Paige Spiranac the Sexiest Woman Alive. The title gave the social media influencer different job opportunities. However, like the saying goes, ‘everything comes with a price,’ the 29-year-old had to pay a huge price for it! 

“Someone threatened to send sp*rm to my house.” she shared one of the security threats she received due to her rising popularity through the latest episode of her podcast ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’

“I’ve been getting death threats and just a lot of harassment,” Spiranac further added. According to her, people used to send her threatening messages online before. However, it increased a lot after Maxim gave her the prestigious title.

Online harassment is something that social influencers have to deal with in their day-to-day lives. However, Spiranac has been receiving threats in person as well. Recently, a person went up to her during a Pro-Am event and threatened her, which made her afraid.

“I just want to let you trolls know that if you are just messing with me to mess with me, it’s not cool,” she said during the new episode of her podcast, ‘Good for Golf + Q&A.’ She also stated that she and her team would take legal action against such threats, if necessary. Furthermore, the former professional golfer explained, “I have a bad a** team of people who are there to like, help me and keep me safe.”

It is not easy to top Maxim’s Hot 100 list and become the Sexiest Woman Alive. In fact, Spiranac is the first athlete to achieve this feat. She has been explaining how being the cover model of Maxim changed her life in a good way through her podcast and Instagram Q&A videos.
