As the 88th Masters is nearing its end, the golfer’s preparation is getting stronger too! After all, a $20 million purse and the highly coveted Green Jacket are on the line. Sadly, Tiger Woods finds himself tied for the T52 position alongside Tom Kim, Thorbjørn Olesen, Denny McCarthy, and Neal Shipley. The GOAT shot his career’s worst on Saturday at the Masters, 10 over, and to the golf world’s surprise, it was his 99th round at Augusta. To redeem, Woods needed reinforcements!

Just before the final round, the unexpected presence of Woods’ son, Charlie Woods, garnered a lot of attention. The young prodigy was seen observing his father’s game, as he practiced before teeing up on the greens as seen in the post made by TWLEGION on X. Charlie could be there to encourage his father to win the sixth title, or just give his old man a few tips! After all, he arguably learned from the best.

Junior Woods didn’t participate in the par-3 contest on the greens, but reports suggest that Charlie made an appearance at Augusta National on Friday, providing a significant morale boost for the GOAT. It seems now that he touched down in Georgia on Saturday and, on Sunday morning, got right to work.

Afterward, the video’s comment section overflowed with encouragement and positive feedback from fans. Charlie’s presence could significantly uplift the 15x major champion in the final round, given Woods’s deep affection for his son.

What do fans have to say about Charlie Woods’ appearance?

While most comments were from fans showing appreciation for Junior Woods, there was a remarkable comment from Trevor Immelman, the 2008 Masters Champion who once competed against Woods himself. The retired golfer commented, “Witnessing Charlie Woods on the range, giving his old man a lesson… so cool!”

A fan remarked on Charlie’s presence, expressing to his father, “He’ll be extra motivated today!” This highlights how much importance the 15-year-old’s appearance holds for Woods and the impact it will have on him. The golfer is renowned to be a dotting father and is often seen encouraging them in their life and speaking lovingly of them.

This fan displayed their enthusiasm for Charlie’s unexpected appearance, exclaiming, “Yay young Charlie supporting pops!” Young Charlie’s support will come in real for the 5x Masters champion as he takes on Augusta’s final round to clinch 6th victory and become the oldest winner.

“Special…I can’t get over it!” Indeed the moment is special! Earlier, we have seen Tiger Woods coaching Charlie, but never the opposite! The moment will be etched in TW’s heart forever as he learned from his son!

Even if TW doesn’t win, a fan is content with it! Reason? They think that the legend has proven himself by competing in all four rounds despite being not his best physical self. “If nothing else he has now proven to himself he can go four rounds which is a win for him,” commented the fan.

While this moment holds significance for the legendary golfer, the tournament is nearing its end. Do you think Charlie Woods’s presence will affect the GOAT’s performance on Sunday? Feel free to share in the comments.
