The highly anticipated Solheim Cup, the summit of women’s golf, is drawing near. Team USA, having faced setbacks in the last two times the biennial event took place, is keen to reclaim its honor this season.

As one of the MVPs of the Team, Nelly Korda has also been suffering from this winning fever. In the backdrop of rigorous training for the event, the LGPA star has opened up about the upcoming game plan.

In a recent social media post by LPGA Tour, the Olympic gold medalist is seen on the course answering a few questions before the most awaited showdown. When asked about this being her third Solheim Cup, and how she feels being a veteran on this team, She answered, “I know it’s crazy.” About the game plan for this week, she stated, “Bring the cup back home, that is the game plan now.”

Two years post Europe’s triumph on U.S. grounds, the Americans are gearing up to reciprocate the feat overseas. The US Solheim Cup team consists of its captain Stacy Lewis and the top seven golfers, including Allisen Corpuz, Megan Khang, Jennifer Kupcho, Danielle Kang, and Andrea Lee, alongside Lilia Vu and Korda. Ally Ewing, Cheyenne Knight, and Angel Yin are also a part of the team.

Furthermore, Lexi Thompson and LPGA Tour rookie Rose Zhang have secured spots on the team as the leading Americans in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Witnessing these players’ games in the Solheim Cup is going to be exciting, and so is Korda’s future as an aunt!

Nelly Korda is excited about “this new chapter”

Talking about her sister Jessica Korda, Nelly funnily made a ‘sad face’, referring to her absence due to her pregnancy. When questioned about how excited she is to be an aunt, She mentioned that she is very excited to see her sister embrace this new chapter and it’s exciting to see her go through this new phase in life.
