Annika Sorenstam is one of the greatest female golfers of all time. Despite her many achievements on the golf course, including 10 major championships and 72 LPGA Tour wins, the legend has always made her family a top priority.
In particular, she has spoken publicly about her deep love and devotion to her children, Ava and Will. Moreover, Sorenstam has described motherhood as the best thing that happened to her. And has credited her family for helping her maintain balance in her life and in her career. However, today she is supporting her daughter through something scary and difficult.

Annika Sorenstam has a difficult day ahead
The GOAT started her day early. Her daughter, Ava Mcgee, was scheduled to have surgery for a torn ACL and Meniscus. Mike Mcgee took to Twitter to update the followers about their difficult day. He wrote, “Early morning for us. Our “little girl” is getting surgery for a torn ACL and Meniscus this morning.”

However, the family is powering up for the surgery as they are all smiles in their adorable picture.
The fans have showered Ava with best wishes for her speedy recovery. Moreover, they sympathize with Sorenstam and Mcgee because of their personal experiences.

The 10-time major winner walked away from golf to be with her family. She has expressed on multiple occasions about how much she loves her kids. Moreover, Annika feels her children have made her more patient.

She once wrote her daughter a letter expressing how she would never force her to play golf. Furthermore, Annika motivates Ava to play all the sports and never feel pressured to follow her footsteps.
