Woods hasn’t competed in a 72 hole event since the 2020 U.S. Open. Hence, he needs to be sure of having that strength and confidence before committing to the prestigious event.

Charlie accompanies his dad, Tiger Woods, to Augusta
Tiger Woods’ son Charlie has also accompanied his dad to Augusta, where Tiger will scout the course and see whether he can sustain the 72 holes. Additionally, he might also help his dad in whatever way possible.
Tiger hasn’t competed in the Masters since 2020. He competed in this event in 2020, where he gave the green jacket to the winner Dustin Johnson. But, he couldn’t compete in the 2021 edition as he met with an accident and suffered multiple injuries.
Woods has recovered well, as we saw him in the father-son 2021 PNC Championship. But he used a golf cart to move around the course in the 36-hole event. So it’s been around three months since Tiger competed, and we can expect that he has increased strength and stamina.
