Next week Brooks Koepka will catch his flight to Rome and head to participate in the most important Ryder Cup. But this week instead of taking a rest he is fulfilling his LIV obligations and will be performing in the $25 million LIV Chicago event that starts on Friday.

But before the actual event, Thursday is the pro AM where Koepka will be facing a special guest. And demonstrating his playful nature mixed with excitement for the match Koepka issued a fun warning to his pro AM enemy of this week. Let’s take a look at what Koepka has to say.

Brooks Koepka issues a playful warning to the podcaster before playing him at LIV event

On Thursday Koepka will be locking horns with podcaster Dan Katz. Katz is a leading content creator from Barstool Sports which is a sports and pop culture blog and entertainment platform. He hosts their ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast and is famous by the nickname “Big Cat”. 

Katz shares a good friendship with Koepka and the latter has appeared multiple times on his podcast. Speaking about the chance of playing with him, Koepka said, “Yeah, I’m looking forward to seeing Big Cat with no knee flex hitting the golf ball. I think that’s what I’m excited for.”

Since they are buddies the 2023 PGA winner said that there will definitely be trash talk between them on the course. “The s**t-talking will be there. I know we’ve gone back and forth in texts over the last few days. Hopefully, I win this match otherwise I’m going to hear it for a while.”

Koepka’s last appearance on Katz show was after this year’s Masters Tournament where he revealed some secrets.

It is not easy for any player to admit that they choked while playing but Koepka did accept this fact while appearing on the Pardon My Take podcast after playing in the Masters.

Speaking about his performance at the major he said “Yeah, I’d characterize that as a choke. It was pretty bad. I mean, c’mon, you’ve got a four-shot lead. All you’ve got to do — I was playing well and just choked it away. But it’s all right. We’ll figure it out.”Koepka told Katz andco host Eric Sollenberger known as PFT Commenter.
