A 20% price increase has occurred, but golf fans are unconcerned. They are willing to pay a huge price just to get access to the majors. Clearly, Augusta National has been hit by significant inflation, resulting in a massive price increase from $375 to $450. To enter the revered grounds of Augusta National Golf Club to see THE MASTERS, it costs $100 and change per day. Clearly, even with a hike, it seems like a pretty darn good deal, much like the tournament’s renowned concession prices.

As tweeted by John Boyette, the executive editor for The Aiken Standard, “Series badges for the @TheMasters  were made available to those on the patron list today. The price for a badge, good for all four tournament days, is up to $450. It was $375 last year. Still a bargain when compared to other major events.”

One cannot deny that the Masters is a true spectacle. From the iconic green jacket awarded to the winner to the breathtaking beauty of the Augusta National course, there’s no other event quite like it in sports.
