This was one of the effects of Patrick Cantlay’s LIV Golf theory highlighting how the breakaway league has improved the situation of the PGA Tour as a consequence of the increased competition.

Cantlay said, “It’s been a competition for top talent, like any other business. I think that it’s been interesting how much it’s changed golf…will be a massive benefit for the viewer. It’s been really good and will be good for professional golf in the long run. But it’s been such a polarizing issue..”, according to Golf Magic.
