Nelly’s attempts to grow the game of Golf
Nelly Korda is the World no. 3 in Women’s golf. Her mastery of the game is an inspiration to women around the world. Nelly, along with Jessica Korda, is playing in the Aramco Team Series: Spain Round 3. The series follows a rather unique format. 36 teams of 4 players are battling it out over two days, using a unique scoring system, and allowing an amateur to contribute to the final result of a professional tour event with a total prize fund of $1M.

Therefore, the Aramco team series contributes a new level of thrill to the Ladies’ European Tour. In an interview held during the same, Nelly said, “I think it’s a super exciting format. It’s always really exciting when you kind of get to do something a little different, a little unique. I think it brings in a little bit of new energy.“

She added, “At the end of the day, you’re always just trying to grow the game of golf, get more people interested, show them it’s super exciting. I think this, the Aramco Team Series does that perfectly.”
