The series follows a rather unique format. 36 teams of 4 players are battling it out over two days, using a unique scoring system, and allowing an amateur to contribute to the final result of a professional tour event with a total prize fund of $1M.
Therefore, the Aramco team series contributes a new level of thrill to the Ladies’ European Tour. In an interview held during the same, Nelly said, “I think it’s a super exciting format. It’s always really exciting when you kind of get to do something a little different, a little unique. I think it brings in a little bit of new energy.“
