‘Talk Dirty to Me’: Golf World Celebrates ‘Fun to Watch’ Justin Thomas on His Milestone Day

Welcoming the age of 30 can be worrying for some, but not for Justin Thomas. The golfer has been open-heartedly enjoying entering his 30s. Apart from his immense talent on the course to his unique fashion choices, JT is known for having a wide range of characters. On the special occasion of his birthday, the PGA Tour shared some glimpses of JT’s different personalities alongside the fans sharing their thoughts.

Thirty years ago today in 1993, Thomas was born in Louisville, Kentucky. From thereon, JT’s persuasion for excellence in professional golf began as he currently stands at 15 wins including his two PGA Championships. Though the golfer wished to have achieved a lot more before turning 30, he still holds one of the best resumes on the PGA Tour.

Apart from his incredible golfing talents, Justin’s personality is also a fan favorite. From being relaxed before a tee shot to shouting after putting, let’s take a look at PGA Tour’s tribute to the birthday boy.

‘30’ is here for Justin Thomas!

In the 2-minute video tribute, the Tour merged many of JT’s personalities from the past decade. ‘Talk dirty to me’ said Thomas after striking a follow-up shot while another video showed the golfer passionately hugging his friend and 2019 Presidents Cup teammate Tiger Woods after winning the foursome match against An Byeong-Hun and Hideki Matsuyama.

More videos of Justin Thomas’ impatient dismay at his ball on air are viewed on the PGA Tour’s tribute. He said, “I am full beg right now” while being on his knees as his ball just misses the hole at the Travelers Championship. After Thomas’ glimpses from on the course, the video then displays some of his witty moments off the sport, like the time his ‘Grandpa’ called him at Tour Championship’s press conference or when he peeked into a live PGA Tour report.

The video ends with Justin’s ace from the 2017 World Golf Championship- Mexico. The stunning shot at the 13th hole only bounced once before getting into the par-3 hole. The Spanish commentary in the background only makes Thomas’ vivid reaction more joyful, which practically sums up his character.

A pinch of humor filled with great golfing skill. While every golfer is worried when their ball is in the air, Justin Thomas does display extra affection. Nevertheless, the PGA Tour pro’s video immediately went viral as the golf world shared their thoughts.

What did the fans think of Thomas’ tribute video?

Though most fans joined in with the PGA Tour in wishing Justin his 30th birthday, other fans applauded the golfer’s attitude. “He is SO much fun to watch. Seriously great guy”, wrote one fan while the other added, “You make the golf world a much better place…cheers”.

After watching some of JT’s swings from the video, many fans were in awe of it. “This man has the most gorgeous swing in history”, commented one fan, while the other wrote, “That bloody swing”. One Instagram user questioned Justin Thomas saying, ‘Talk dirty to me’ after hitting the shot.

Some of the fans also claimed to share their birthdays with the 30-year-old. Regardless, as JT is getting older, he is only getting much closer to the greats. While he still has a lot more to achieve with respect to his caliber, Justin can enjoy today to the fullest. Happy 30th birthday Justin Thomas!
