What’s in Talor Gooch’s golf bag?

Gooch’s diver of choice is the Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond Driver. Callaway uses the new A.I. designed Jailbreak system to provide stability in both the horizontal and torsional direction of the driver. Its massive weight savings are repositioned for higher MOI and increased forgiveness. It is also used by John Rahm. The driver retails for $600.

His Fairway Wood is the Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond Fairway Wood. It is Callaway’s most compact fairway wood shape with a deeper face at the address. This takes the ball up to 7 yards longer as per test results. It comes with an adjustable hosel that allows golfers to further dial in trajectory.

Irons and putters of Talor Gooch

Gooch is in the habit of using two irons. The first is Callaway X Forged irons (4 to 6-iron). A.I. face technology is used in the construction of this club. Its face is uniquely optimized for more speed, higher launch, and increased spin consistency. The pre-worn leading edge allows more forgiveness. The second is Callaway Apex MB. The dynamic Sole Design of this iron maintains speed through the turf and promotes consistent contact on all shots. It retails for $1500.

For putter Gooch uses the Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two putter. It is a great device for players who want more forgiveness. Its Stroke Lab shaft and peripheral weighted head provide a good feel from the White Hot insert. Gooch has certainly made good choices with his club. Hopefully, he uses them well in Jeddah.
