The model-entrepreneur wife of Brooks Koepka has faced online trolling and cyberbullying for her physique. Some deemed her too skinny. ‘Eat’ wrote some netizens under her posts. So, Jena Sims knows how it affects a person psychologically.
So, when one of her followers, a 56-year-old woman, asked for advice to counter skinny-shaming, Sims had only one response. It’s always better to ignore and do your thing. With a photo of her in the gym wrote on her Instagram story, “I truly live by the quote — Other people’s opinion of me are none of my concern.”

The 35-year-old has faced online skinny shaming for years. In 2020, Sims decided to hit back after receiving unsolicited advice about ‘eating cheeseburgers’ to gain some weight. She posted a brief clip of her eating an actual cheeseburger. “Not so rare footage of me eating a cheeseburger,” Sims wrote in one of her Instagram posts.

In another of her Instagram posts, Jena Sims posed with her five-time major-winning husband, eating a burger. “Everyone telling me to eat a cheeseburger. Here you are.” However, that’s not the only time she had to counter online trolls. A year back, her swimsuit walk while being pregnant threw her at the center of controversy.

Jena Sims has rarely spared online trolls
Jena Sims flaunted her baby bump at the Miami Swim Week show in July 2023. Later, in a very candid interview, Sims revealed that she had to ignore a hoard of negative comments to make that happen.
“Your expectation of how my pregnancy should look or how I’m supposed to carry is not my responsibility. … Because my husband is already in, like, such a public spotlight, we are under a microscope,” she told US Weekly.

Sims and Koepka welcome their first child, Crew, just weeks later. Sims was the co-winner along with six fellow models. Jena Sims, meanwhile, also carried on with her philanthropic work. She partnered with Baby Quest, an organization helping soon-to-be moms to cover IVF, surrogacy, and egg and sperm donation.
This July, the 35-year-old shared a clip of her two avatars on the Miami Swim Week — one with Baby Crew inside and the other from this year’s show. “1 year later, both walks were equally empowering,” she wrote on Instagram. Indeed, Jena Sims lives by the maxim that other’s opinions are never her headache.
